Chase Turner is an American rapper and songwriter professionally known as Lil Meta or Meta. Born in Knoxville, Tennessee, Lil Meta has always been inspired by southern Hip Hop. From a young age, Lil Meta was no stranger to trouble, which lead him to a military school from 8th grade through high school.
At the Florida Air Academy, Lil Meta found music as a good way to express himself. Rapping for his friends, Meta quickly realized that his passion could turn into his career, when he would hear others rapping his songs and enjoying them.
Inspired by Artist such as Lil Wayne, T.I., Eminem and Daddy Yankee, Lil Meta decided he wanted to start his music career professionally. Determined to make major moves, Lil Meta moved to Atlanta Georgia and collaborated with artists such as Lil Boosie, Dj Khaled, Waka Flocka, Oj Da Juiceman, Yung Ralph, Coca Vango and LightSkinKeisha. He has also worked with producers such as Zaytoven and Khao.
Doing whatever it takes to make big moves has separated Lil Meta from those who just want to be discovered. Still growing his career, Lil Meta has started DBT Entertainment, LLC. With his first official highly anticipated Meta Vango album dropping in May of 2020, Lil Meta has shown promise as a hit artist. His body of work in 2019, he has shown no signs of slowing down, and has made it clear to his fans and his haters, that he is here to stay.
