Teezy Wonder is from the Northside of Jacksonville, Florida aka Duval County. Artist, Producer and Songwriter. His song “Fuck Shit” was self-produced. Teezy classifies his music as reality rap, “Thus I won’t talk about it if I didn’t actually live it or through it,” he says. His early influences were Rakim, Too Short, 2 live Crew and NWA.
Teezy started rapping in the 6th grade by entering a local talent show with some friends, and he has been writing ever since. He attracted the attention of a few Indie record labels early in his career, but, a federal prison stint and probation stopped him from being able to take advantage of those opportunities.
After getting off probation and becoming at odds with the original crew he was affiliated with before incarceration, Teezy decided to learn how to make beats and started producing for himself. Along the way he made the acquaintance of Coby Douglas (KB) and they became friends starting Team Productionz.
Teezy Wonder also had a cameo appearance in the movie Queen Pen, shot locally in Jacksonvillem as one of the hitmen in the movie. Which was also filmed by his friend and co-producer Coby Douglas. They have collaborated and produced with various artists from Florida to N.Y.
