Jefri King – “Sellout”

Jefri King is one of the best who has emerged to the surprise of many. He is the future of Reggae/Dancehall and Afro dancehall music; a genre which is gaining roots in the music scene, in Ghana and Africa at large. Known in real life as Issac Ampah he goes by the stage name – Jefri King. He was born and bred in the capital city Accra but hails from a town near Asamankese in the Eastern Region of Ghana on. Jefri King started pursuing his music career back in Senior High School as a rapper. After completing his course as a science student, he furthered his education at Towers Computers in Osu Accra where he learned software and hardware programs in IT.

Thereafter, he became a radio presenter and worked for 5 years at Splash 92.9fm in Eastern Region. The turning point in his music career came when he switched from rapping to venture into the Reggae/Dancehall genre because he foresaw the future in it. It took him a decade of leaning and harnessing his skill until he perfected himself, in what he so much put his all into.
