K-$TARS – “Out of Pocket”
Born on August 16th, 1989 in Los Angeles CA, K-$TARS is an emerging independent rap artist signed to his own brand and record label, DyverCity Entertainment LLC. Leaving the Golden State at 18 years old, he eventually landed in Norfolk VA where he resided for eight years and also served three years in the U.S. Navy.
Even though at an early age he fell in love with music in general and was inspired by the artistic talents of Eminem, Kanye West, Jay-Z, Nas, 2 Pac, The Notorious B.I.G, 50 Cent, Cam’ron and Tech N9ne, he wasn’t inspired to pick up the mic and make music himself until 2010.
Heavily influenced by Kid Cudi and J. Cole, he began perfecting his craft. After learning the ways of the music industry during his tenure in Virginia, he’s back in Los Angeles and just released his first single “Out of Pocket” from his forthcoming debut album “A Voice Unheard” which is set for a first quarter 2020 release. K-$TARS is on radio rotation with the track “Out of Pocket”.
