- You’ve been described as blending old-school vibes with modern commentary. How did your influences, like Mystikal and Master P, shape your sound and lyrical style?
Silent Tha Soldier: I always listened to that No Limit sound, Everyone on the tank was my inspiration, also Cash Money. The ways the beats sounded and how Mystikal and others rhymed, I studied their cadences.
- Your rapid-fire flow is a signature. How do you balance technical skill with storytelling in your tracks?
Silent Tha Soldier: I just try to make sure it all makes sense and that it is laid out perfectly while spitting with a machine gun flow at the same time.
- What aspects of growing up in Louisville, Kentucky, have influenced your perspective and music?
Silent Tha Soldier: Growing up wasn’t too bad but not too good, I had a lot of troubles and I did lose a few good friends to violence. However, those kinds of troubles fuel my passion to success even more so I can get out of this city and take care of my people.

Silent Tha Soldier: The main message I want listeners is to take away from this song is Beat$ By Tha Load$ is a force to be reckoned with, and we’re coming.
- The single blends cutting-edge wordplay with raw aggression. What inspired the themes and tone of this song?
Silent Tha Soldier: What inspired this song really was my group and what we relate to. We consider ourselves street soldiers, dealing with the battles of everyday life. The Tank represents our passion and aggression; the tags are the symbol of who we are,
- How does “Tanks & Tags” set the stage for what fans can expect from beat$ By Tha Load$ moving forward?
Silent Tha Soldier: Tank$ & Tagz is just the beginning to the movement we’re trying to create. It’s a hint at how we’re coming on my upcoming album dropping in December.
- How did the group beat$ By Tha Load$ come together, and what makes the chemistry between the members work so well?
Silent Tha Soldier: Well I first met Steve a couple years ago while searching for down south beats and he posted them on YouTube. I hit him up on Instagram and started working with him immediately because our sounds are so much alike, Tok-k was under Steve’s wing and beatzondelivery I met last year by buying beats. And it went from there. We all have the same passion and taste in music.
- Can you share what it’s like collaborating with Stevegotthemkeys, Tok-K Beats, and BeatzOnDelivery? How does each member bring their unique flavor to the group?
Silent Tha Soldier: Well we always try to make sure the song we make is real, ruff and rugged. They produce the beats and engage in mental warfare and I set the tone with my vocals and rhymes.
- How do you navigate creative differences within the group, and how does that affect the final product?
Silent Tha Soldier: We’ve never had big differences in terms of the projects because we understand each other so much we already click and agree with each track we make and how it comes out that’s how close we are.
- Tok-K Beats produced the instrumental for “Tanks & Tags.” How did that collaboration come about, and what makes his production stand out?
Silent Tha Soldier: I asked Tok-k for a soldier anthem kind of beat, I searched his channel and I found one that he posted and it immediately hit me. He sent me the instrumental and it was up from there.
- Tok-K is also one of your best friends. How does your personal connection influence your creative partnership?
Silent Tha Soldier: We’ve known each other for the shortest of time compared to the rest in our group but we always have discussions one to one about the world, and personal issues and matters.
- Your lyrics are deliberate and impactful. Can you walk us through your creative process for writing verses?
Silent Tha Soldier: When I write I want my listener to envision themselves in my war, in my boots on the field as they understand what I’m talking about. I want them to feel every word and the beat as well.
- What role does nostalgia play in your music, and how do you ensure it appeals to both old-school and new-school listeners?
Silent Tha Soldier: I always listen to old school music; it’s rare I listen to music from these days. nostalgia is always in my everyday listen as I hear songs from childhood that f irst inspired me like the song “Y’all ain’t Ready Yet” by Mystikal.

Silent Tha Soldier: Just us being the soldiers we are how we feel the issues the song addresses is people mistaking us for cowards and also represents the aggressive I have to get to our goal.
- Your music is usually known for its outspoken commentary. What issues do “Tanks & Tags” address?
Silent Tha Soldier: The issues it addresses is dealing with people and situations that try to stop our grind.
- Authenticity is a hallmark of your music. How do you stay true to yourself in an industry that often rewards trends over substance?
Silent Tha Soldier: Well my friends make the instrumentals; a song’s nothing without the instrumental so they do their part keepin our sound grounded and authentic. I try not to sound like anyone when I rap.
- What’s next for beat$ By Tha Load$? Can we expect an album or more singles in the near future?
Silent Tha Soldier: Yup, December or January expect my album to drop produced by all of them even featuring my good friend “ChrisHeezy” and “Ethan Perry”.
- How do you see the group contributing to the evolution of hip-hop and rap music as a genre?
Silent Tha Soldier: We’re gonna bring back the Tank sound that was well known in the 90s-2000s and also our own new school flavor.
- How has your personal relationship with music evolved since you first started out?
Silent Tha Soldier: Well I’ve gotten a lot better with music I make songs every day. There’s never a day I don’t write or record.
- How do you want Silent Tha Soldier and beat$ By Tha Load$ to be remembered in the hip-hop world?
Silent Tha Soldier: I want us to be remembered as one of the most authentic and real groups to ever exist in the hip-hop game, and remember me as one of the most real Christian rappers to ever come out.
