Jah-Femi Presents: Mix Bag Ascent is a carefully constructed sonic journey, with the majority of the project fully written, arranged, composed, and executively produced by JahFemi Telewa… a body of work shaped through real-life encounters and deliberate artistic vision. Each featured artist was selected from genuine moments… chosen not just for talent, but for presence… for how their voice fits into the architecture of the sound.
Every track, except two, carries Jah-Femi’s full creative fingerprint… from pen to structure to final direction. The exceptions are, “Doubt It Final”, which is executively produced and curated by Jah-Femi… where he selected the artist and guided the record’s placement within the project’s overall ascent. The other is “Lost Love (Live Version)” ft. Merty Shango & Marcello, where the artist wrote the verses, and everything else was taken care of by Jah-Femi.
No filler… no wasted motion… just aligned expression. From reflection to conviction, from love to loss… each track represents a step upward. The title speaks plain… Ascent… a rise built not only through creation, but through vision, selection, and control.
